© METRO PLANNING, INC. 2011 Greg Wobbe, MCRP, CFM Since 2005 Mr. Wobbe has coordinated planning projects for client jurisdictions in Louisiana, Texas, California, Colorado, Kansas and Nevada.  His expertise is in data collection, drafting and editing planning documents; federal grant applications; and project implementation and management.  Mr. Wobbe currently provides a wide range of client support relating to hazard mitigation plans and planning, including but not limited to FEMA grant writing and FEMA project coordination. Mr. Wobbe is a seasoned provider of Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) grant writing services, and has been responsible for bringing almost $5M worth of HMGP funds to east Texas over the past three years.  He has just submitted grant applications for an additional $6M+ for future phases of an ongoing flood buyout process along the Sabine River on the Texas/Louisiana border.  Mr. Wobbe has provided grant administration and project coordination for the first two phases of buyouts along the Sabine River, including a $1.7 million ($1.1 million federal share) phase that finished in December, 2008, and a similar $3.6 million ($2.7 million federal share) phase that is currently underway. Mr. Wobbe holds a Master's degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon with an emphasis in GIS, rural community development and comprehensive planning and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the same institution.  He is also a Certified Floodplain Manager.  Mr. Wobbe heads up our Louisiana office in Natchitoches.
